RECENT PROJECTS
MANUFACTURING & PACKAGING CONVEYOR SYSTEM
We regularly manufacture complex sheet and tubular fabrications. One recent project involved fabricating a series of fruit weighing stations for a packaging conveyor line in a high-hygiene environment. This project involved sheet & tube laser cutting, tube bending, CNC forming, TIG welding and glass bead blasting.
At BIZ we have a highly skilled department of welder fabricators with a dedicated team of stainless steel TIG welders. Our production team achieve the highest precision whether we are manufacturing bespoke one-off units or fully jigged batch volumes.
CYCLE PARKING SYSTEMS
We have many years experience fabricating and assembling bespoke products to a customers design. We have done a number of batches of this cycle parking systems for one of our customers. This product required laser cutting, punching, bending, stud welding, zinc plating, powder coating and assembly.
Our designers and production team liaised closely with the customer to help finalise designs. With our experience and expertise in sheet metal fabrication we can often advise customers on efficient design in order to reduce lead times and costs where possible. At BIZ we will constantly look to streamline production on repeat jobs and pass on any cost savings to the customer.
HIGH-RISE BALCONIES
BIZ Engineering has been a supplier for the construction industry since its incorporation. In recent years BIZ Engineering have been supplying a number of well-established construction companies with components such as; balconies, drainage trays, soffits, facias, wall & roof cladding.
BIZ Engineering was involved on a £60m City Road, London, high-rise project. This project involved initial discussions to establish requirements right the way through design, manufacture and final delivery onto site.
HACKNEY 6TH FORM CENTRE CLADDING
BIZ Engineering was contracted to manufacture a bespoke cladding cassette system for the new Hackney 6th Form Centre. This initially involved modelling the panel system in SolidWorks based on architectural drawings supplied by the client. Panels were punched and laser cut from 3mm thick aluminium then welded and powder coated before final delivery to site.
MANUFACTURING & ASSEMBLY ON CHECKOUT BARRIERS
As well as fabrication and finishing, BIZ also offers an assembly service. One example is a barrier system for checkouts. BIZ manufactures the sheet metal and tubular fabrications which are then combined with outsourced; machined bearings, springs and signage and all fitted in our dedicated assembly area. With BIZ undertaking the assembly and packaging of certain products our assembly team can liaise with our production and design team to suggest time and cost savings on any repeat jobs.
